Rodeway Inn

Room was pretty average for an aging property. Beds were fine. Pillows were really comfortable. Tub was slow to drain, but water temp and pressure were great. Older heating system made it tricky to get it just right, but the snow view made getting up to change it no burden. Staff was super accomodating. Overall was a fine stay.

Had toilet issues had to move to a different room didn't work when we got there

Positive: Nothing total disaster. Negative: Dirty very dirty, NO Breakfast, tub was full of hair. They told us to wipe it out with a towel. Sheets were discusting on one bed. Dirty and I mean dirty. Like get holy moly dirty.

I choose this hotel because it was closest to the work site. I have not read the reviews which was a mistake. When we arrived with a colleague and tried to check in the person behind the desk told me my card got declined and it is locked. A good two minutes awkward silence followed and he was just starting at me, offering no solution like they don't want to take our money. Eventually we used a different card... Later I got a fraud alert from my bank. So we got to our room, it was supper cold in the room, mind you it's the beginning of December up in North Minnesota. The heat was turned off... And I somewhat understand heat cost money .. but it is not a nice warm welcome for sure. Avoid this property at all costs. The exterior looks rundown, like a low-end Motel 6, and the complete lack of an elevator for a building with at least three floors is a significant accessibility issue. ​The room itself was disgustingly dirty. I found splattered mirrors, a filthy microwave, and maintenance was clearly nonexistent. The light fixtures were falling off the walls and the bed was noticeably leaning. The desk area was equipped only with an uncomfortable metal folding chair, and there was no good place to charge devices. ​Furthermore, what they call "breakfast" was merely a juice machine. There was no breakfast whatsoever. The stay was so unpleasant and uncomfortable that I would have checked out immediately and gone to the Hampton Inn if they hadn't been fully booked. This es
