Rodeway Inn Cecil

Get room away from road. Noisy truck noise early morning.No coffee pot or hair dryer. Recently renovated, kindof. Bed was comfortable enough.. The housekeeping was exceptional!

I will never go back here the bed was like sleeping on concrete and my wife went and ask for some towels and the guy told her no so I had to go buy some the toilet ran the whole time they have broke down cars in the parking lot I WILL NEVER BE BACK

We stayed here as Rodeway Inns are part of the Choice Hotels loyalty program and we just needed a basic room on our drive South. The price was right BUT... this place seemed out of a scary thriller movie. No hotel lobby but convenience store check-in point. Room was clean but the double bolt lock was broken and no hair dryer. Only 2 bath towels and hand towel. When we pulled in, a pit bull was being walked through the parking lot. We could smell wafts of marijuana through the bathroom's exhaust fan. Needless to stay, we barricaded our door with the room's table and got out of there first break of dawn. I'm surprised Choice Hotels allows these standards for their group of hotels. Upon check-out, no thanks or inquiries on the stay from the clerk-- guess he knows what he'd hear.

This is a budget motorcourt, so don't expect 5 star, or even 3 star, amenities. What do you get for $76 a night? A simple clean room with amazing exterior security lights and plenty of parking. You also get friendly "front desk" staff. It's in quotes because the front desk is also the cashier at the gas station & minimart next door. C'mon, talk about convenient. The motel is a few hundred feet from the I75 exit for Cecil. Did I mention it's convenient?

The tub and shower were dated but clean!! The mattress did not fill me with confidence, however we both slept well. The area was quiet and peaceful. EXCELLENT price!!
