Rodeway Inn Boardman - Hermiston

Gave this place a chance after avoiding it due to a bad past experience at this location previously.I stay in this area frequently for work. . Stayed in room 219 twice and remote was broken. Nothing was fixed after I let them know. Was placed in that same room again and the cable box was broken this time. They wouldn’t send anybody to look at it or replace the cable box. Stayed in room 234 and no water pressure if hot water was used. Literally none and no water would come out of the shower head if on hot. Stayed in room 233 and shower handle was broken. I said something about it and they promised me a free night on my next stay. Called in today to purchase my stay and free night and they denied ever offering it, talked down at me rudely and hung up so quickly that I couldn’t even argue m

Shower was dirty (had previous occupants hair stuck the the shower walls and floor). The heater sound like a jet engine, wakes me up every time it turns on. The top blanket had some fabric conditioner that smelled so strong it was give a headache so I took it off. No coffee maker in the room. I'll never stay here again. I'd probably sleep better in my car, especially given how overpriced the stay was.

Your average run-of-the-mill motel. Dated, stained, and worn down. Looks like they're in the process of fixing it up a bit, so maybe time will tell. The walls, door, and windows are thin. The people in the room next to mine were listening to music and talking, and I could hear literally every spoken word as if they were in the same room as me. A man talking on his phone in the parking lot at 11PM had the same effect as well. Bring your earplugs! "Breakfast" is shelf stable items like cereal, pop tarts, and muffins. Bed was comfortable and the AC unit was great. Might give it another chance.

People at front were helpful and friendly, but room itself sub-standard. Pillows were poor, needed more blanket on bed, and bathroom fan very noisy. I can see improvements are trying to be made, but not there yet. Best thing you've got is cheaper rates than other motels in Boardman.
