Rocky Point Picnic Site

Beautiful place, parking can get full so come early, for spots in the day use parking its $10 cash only. Has dumpsters and clean flush toilet bathrooms. It's not very developed so only a few tables and fire pits and no pavement. Naturally gorgeous with great swimming. People bring their own grills and party here.

Really awesome place! There is a $10 fee for parking per car. The water is fresh not too cold and it is see thru, perfect for swimming. I would highly reccomend bringing a canopy tent to avoid sun, especially if you are planning to stay there for a couple of hours. Bathrooms flush so they dont smell horrible, and they are relatively clean with good lighting. There is a firepit to cook. There is limited picnic tables, but there is plenty of space to set your own table and chairs. I believe you can rent boats and jet ski to use in the lake. Overall would reccomend for a family/friends getaway or alone, whatever floats your boat :)
