Rocky Bend Campground

This campground is so cool! Amazing swimming options despite the water being very cold, you can even do these mini floats down a short section in tubes that is really fun. Lots of room for dining and hanging out, clean restroom, and the campsites up top are great for babies/little kids because you honestly can't hear a meltdown in the lower tent sites. It's right on the road so can be a little loud with logging trucks sometimes but that's the only negative.

This is a nice campground with lots of space and facilities. Before you reserve I think it is important to be aware that people will be coming and going in the campground even though the gate is locked and closed and it says access is by reservation only. When I arrived for my reservation there were people parked at the gate fishing in the campground. But, they were nice, helped me set up a canopy, and offered me a fish they had caught and then left. About an hour later a group of teenagers came and parked outside the gate, walked past the gate and proceeded to sit at a bench at the upper camping area and drink and party. I absolutely love Rocky been to this one of the most beautiful places in Oregon that I have seen. We have friends that have been going to Rocky Bend for close to for decades. People have gotten married here and celebrated this place for many years, and for years to come.

Grownup camping here as a kid it was the best campsite along the river that was free. Now the campsite has a gate and you have to make a reservation! the campgournds have been wrecked to make room for more camp sites and the price they require is ridiculous too! Go any where else!
