Rockville Centre Hotel

Very nice hotel..always clean. Plenty of parking. Staff seems very nice . Only thing is their televisions need updating. They are like 40 years old and very small. Old zenith but they do show a clear picture..lol. I’ll definitely stay again

Stayed here two nights while in town for a family funeral. Location was convenient to the funeral home as well as family members’ homes in the area. Our room (two queen beds) was spacious. The beds were quite comfortable. Front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Complimentary buffet breakfast was pretty good with several hot and cold options. Common areas of the hotel are very clean and well maintained. Complimentary shuttle service to and from JFK Airport was a huge bonus.

I booked 2 king rooms for 3 nights for the last 2 practice rounds of the Ryder Cup. The rooms were located on the 3rd floor, but some distance apart (not a problem as this was not requested). When we got back the first day there had been no housekeeping service. The front desk said it was performed every other day, so after requesting (and promptly receiving) fresh towels, we requested housekeeping service for the next day. When we arrived back the second day the room was still not serviced. The front desk said they did not know why and we again requested (and received) fresh towels.||Upon checkout I raised this issue and asked for a courtesy discount for a 3 night stay without housekeeping service. Since I booked directly with the hotel I was told that this would be forwarded to managemen

Positive: No hassles. Negative: The ice machine wasn't working and there was only one.

The gas station across the street has better breakfast. Staff treated me like I was homeless. And charged me 500 a night for a tiny room. No restaurants nearby. Front desk sells water bottles for cash undercutting the hotel shop.
