Rockin H Inn

We had no problems at all staying here. It has all you need; a comfortable bed and a decent shower. The only reason i gave it 4 stars , instead of 5, is because it needed a good cleaning (fake plats were super dusty, A/c was dusty, dirty floor under the beds, dirty shower curtain liner, dirty fridge and microwave). But the rest of the room was clean enough. ||Real friendly people.||The pre-bagged ice is located in a freezer at the end of the hotel (covered patio area with a rocking chair, picnic table and a grill). I wish we had found this the day we arrived. ||You need to visit the convenience store, next door. We were passing through, almost into Talahena when our car started having problems and we pulled into the station just past the Rocking H Inn. Hours from home and it was getting late, I called to inquire how much a room for the night would be. I didn’t get an answer but right away I got a call back (which I missed) then a text. $65! So I called, Brian was out feeding his cattle, but had his laptop and got us right into a room- that was easy! Even though the inn is old, the beds are much more comfortable that newer expensive hotels. Someone mentioned that the rooms needed updating, but we were fine with a little rust in the sink and not so new carpet- so what! If you need shinny new, go on down the road and pay double for it! We’ve been staying here for years, coming up on hunting trips coming up with Family to spend time in the region and Brian the owner has always been so amazing to deal with always worked with us in every situation. Can’t say enough about this place.

The rooms could use some updating. however there was a stray public hair in the bath tub.

Great rooms great price ...we will use these guys whenever we visit the area
