Rock Island Inn & Suites

This property has the best handicapped accessible room of any we've stayed at in the past 11 years. Not only was there a roll-in shower with a bench, but there was also a bench in the large bathroom for dressing. There were lots of good quality towels.|The room was comfortable as was the bed. It is out in the country, and both the location and motel itself were quiet.|There was a large fridge with a freezer compartment; something we always appreciate when we are traveling with a small cooler and ice packs.|Showering with soft water was a huge plus.|Breakfast was okay. |We would stay here again because it was an all round positive experience.

This is a great place to stay in Atlantic. I've been up there for work 4 times and Rock Island Inn & Suites is my preferred choice. It's close to the downtown area, but just far enough away where it's quiet and convenient to get to. The rooms are very clean and the beds (which is the main thing I look for when booking hotels) are very comfy. The employees at Rock Island are very hospitable and do their best to make sure you're taken care of. There isn't a gym with all the equipment like at some other hotels, but that's no big deal. They'll give you a free pass to the local YMCA if you want to work out.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are very clean. They serve a good breakfast. The rooms are very quiet. They are easy to find when driving* and was reasonably priced for a night’s stay. The staff makes an effort to accommodate their guests. If you want more coffee, get some from their front desk. If your clock isn’t working in your room, call the front desk and they will fix it or get another one. * Only one negative: the entrance to the motel’s parking lot is hard to see after dark.

This is the nicest place I’ve stayed anywhere in the area. And the price is very competitive! The staff is super helpful. They even offered to put out breakfast early when they heard me talking about leaving for work early in the morning. Staying here for about two weeks and great for extended stays. I work around the area a lot and this will be my new favorite spot!!

Rock Island Inn & Suites perfectly suited our needs when we traveled to Atlantic. The rooms are nicely situated, clean, and comfortable. The cleaning staff are efficient and thorough. Jay, at the Front Desk was super to work with. He was attentive and helpful for our special needs.
