Robin Hill RV Campground

My husband and I stayed from Saturday afternoon through Monday morning, late in August. The office staff was very helpful and assisted in accommodating our day guests. ||Our campsite was very clean, grassy, and level. ||The surrounding seasonal campers were very nice and were very helpful when we arrived. ||The campground itself was quiet both evenings, especially Sunday evening, although there were many couples/families still at the campground for the night. ||We enjoyed our stay so much, we have put this campground on our list of places to become seasonal campers.

If I could give this campground zero stars, I would. We've been full-time Thousand Trails members for over 5 years and have stayed at nearly 50 different campgrounds, including Encore locations, across the US. Robin Hill in Pennsylvania was by far the worst experience we've ever had. We arrived yesterday at 4:15 PM, a little over an hour after the 3:00 PM check-in time, to find the office already closed. The site we were assigned was too small for our trailer, there was no way we could safely fit. We immediately called the phone number listed for the campground to get help or a site reassignment, but received no answer, no call back, and absolutely no direction on how to proceed. With no staff in sight, we had no choice but to park in a nearby open site that our trailer fit into and where

Beautiful place. Quiet retreat with exceptional views. Great for stargazing. Driving through the surrounding areas offers breathtaking views. The local markets are incomparable. Fresh local produce, meats, and prepared foods were delightful. There are so many wonderful places to explore nearby. This is my third visit to this ideal campground location.

We had an excellent time this weekend, and we have already booked another trip to camp there. Bingo, basket raffle, and all the activities were great. My only complaint was that the bathhouse in the upper section was not heated, and this weekend was freezing. There was also no hot water in that bathhouse, so we ended up driving down to the office bathrooms to shower. The activity directors were great, and we enjoyed the pottery. |

I must preface this review by saying that the seasonal campers are so friendly and helpful. The campground is actually very pretty and maintained quite well. I only wish that they had told us that they could not accommodate a site for our 40 ft. 5th wheel. It was seriously like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Instead of backing straight in, they wanted us to take two spaces sideways…like this l—l…between all other campers who were backed in the correct way on either side. It was a complete nightmare to say the least. Apparently this was because one of the hookups were not working. Thank goodness for the two nice guys from Jersey who are seasonal campers for helping us. In the end, the owners allowed us to back into a site (like most campers do) but we had to leave immediately i
