The man working at the counter was very nice. When I first drove up, I thought the hotel was abandoned. So it does have that kind of vibe... but it was clean and bug-free. I'm pretty sure I was the only female staying there. The other 4 cars seemed to be men. At 11:30 p.m., there were some men outside talking a little too loudly since I had to be up early to continue my drive.

I stayed here a few months back for the first time. When Joseph was the manager. I was very pleased with my stay there. Josephs customer service was excellent. He really did a great job as manager. I was sent back down here again for work and noticed the "under new management "sign and thought uhoh that's not good. But decided to check it out. Same clean accommodations and now even better prices they have free laundry free BBQ and a nice pool and free WiFi that works! I would definitely recommend. I hope that the new owners maintain its quality and reputation that Joseph built.

My husband, kids and I were making a last minute trip to Mexico on Friday night. We were tired and wanted to stop by and sleep at a hotel, I was calling around nearest hotels and all were priced above $100-$150. I was sketchy about sleeping just in any hotel due to past roaches experience! But we tried RIVIERA. our night price was very affordable! I walked in to our room and I was surprised on how clean it was! Instantly walking in I smelled the bleach! Which is NOT a problem to me, it made me feel very comfortable! Restrooms were as well very clean! The only small issue is that the sheets had really small stains. I don’t know from what, but it didn’t take my peace of mind away. I just brought my travel blanket to sleep with and slept like a baby! Me and my family were very comfortable her

It was the worst decision of my life staying in this horrible place. Room was not clean had some toxic smell , bathroom was nasty with no air , saw some bed bugs in the morning on top of that staff was rude too. Don't go to this place if you need a good night sleep.

Nice little place to stay if you are passing through or working in the area. The family that owns it is great and very helpful with anything you need. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the beds are comfortable. It has a nice pool and each room has their own dedicated parking spot. Food close by also. By far one of the best motels I have stayed at.
