River's Edge RV Resort And Camping

I am not the person to normally write bad reviews about places I go. But this one by far got me. They call this campground kids/family friendly. That’s a joke. I was there for 6 days camp host clams it was 10 but it was less than a week. I have three kids and they not only started with saying my kids couldn’t have there powerwheels there cause they didn’t want clutter what kinda campground is that. And then it was the dog barking well when there is construction going on she is gonna be alarmed to sound. So I called the main office and instead of a manager, reaching out to call me back after I called that morning later that afternoon, when I got back to the campground, I was told that I needed to leave could no longer stay there. Absolutely gorgeous! Looks brand new and is very well designed. The bathrooms are are STUNNING!!!!! No, truly, like something the Property Bros. designed. Lovely campground. The town and townsfolks are great also. We really enjoyed ourselves and looking forward to visiting again. (Still can't get over how gorgeous the bathrooms were.)

I stopped there with my family and we had a great time. We hung out at the pavilion during the day and had a nice picnic there. My kids tried their hand at fishing and it was fun to chat with some kayakers as they came by. They even have a funky playground. Great place!

Finished a month stay at the Campground and would definitely come back if we have the opportunity. This Campground seems fairly new as all hookups and concrete pads are perfect. The bathrooms with large showers were the nicest we have experienced on our cross country adventure. We enjoyed walking our dogs daily down the short grass trail to the river to let them swim. Or the other trail to the large city park. It was very quiet. This surprised me with the number of campers and proximity to the road. Phil made it easy to accommodate a month's stay on short notice over the phone. We were then greated with a smile by Luke the camp host when we arrived and good conversation throughout our stay. I really enjoy the amenities the park has to offer. The only down side to the park is the park host Luke. He’s the type that has a bad day and has to make everyone else have a bad day as well. Not a good quality for someone in customer service.
