Nice spot along the Missouri River to use as a base camp for riding gravel bikes in the area or just to enjoy nature. The campground has 4 tent sites, 4 medium RV sites with hookups and 2 large RV sites with hookups. It has it's own bath house including a shower with nice, hot water. The price is reasonable for the campground and they provided firewood for a small fee which was convenient. There is a bar/restaurant across the street which did get a bit noisy on Friday night but is great if you want to grab a cheap beer. I'd recommend and plan to go back!

Excellent camping stop along the Katy trail. Very clean restrooms and shower. Melody is super nice and makes sure you are taken care of. Also there is a bar n grill next door with awesome burgers and cold beer. The locals are great too. 6 stars

We were scheduled to make it 5 miles further on our Katy trail ride but some equipment problems slowed us down. Melody was really nice when I called last minute to see if we could camp at Rivers Edge. She met us at the camp site and offered to supply us with firewood for a small fee. The price for overnight camping was very reasonable. The sites were nice and level. I would highly recommend this camp site

We were going to stay here during our cross-country bicycle tour, but after grabbing food at the bar across the street (where we some locals confronted us about wearing masks inside), we popped out to a bunch of men who had started a bonfire by the river, were drinking, and playing loud music. As a female, their rowdiness did not sit right with me, so we continued down the trail to a different campsite. The campground seemed really nice and well kept, but it's proximity to the public waterfront didn't work in our favor that night. Melody called us the next day to check in, which was super nice. She's a gem - nothing against her.

A beautiful little campground right on the trail. Melody is very welcoming and kind and its obvious she cares alot about the campground. She works hard at the landscaping and it shows. Theres a bar conveniently located behind the campground which is great for a cold drink, snacks and wifi. My dog had a hurt foot and she kindly packaged me up some ointment to take with me. Thank you Melody!! ♡
