Riverhouse

Beautiful place and location to Peterborough and surrounding areas is superb. Rooms are a little older, beds are on the firm side, but it was well equipped. Check in and check out was EASY and convenient. They do accept animals but there is a small fee associated. Would recommend it for my family and friends!!

The price was over $400 the weekend and under $200 for the week days. I have stay in many places and it is not a $400 plus motel. The people were nice and helpful at check in and that was the last we saw anyone, Friday thru Monday. TV was not the best, if your a senior not use to all the apps. and services. Furniture needs up dated. It was worn, on a dresser something must have been mounted on it in the past and there were screw holes and mounting hardware.

Overall this is an ok place, some of my other friends in room 109 had a nice view of the river. My room however (206) didn't really have much of a view and there were often times during the two mornings I was there where I felt like I was in a NASA space shuttle during takeoff. I was told it was the laundry on spin cycle, that seems like a ridiculous placement to me for the machines. My two other groups of friends didn't have any issue however. The overall stay was fine, but for the price and experience... I wouldn't go back. It was just the most convenient location for the wedding we attended.

We were in town working very nearby so location was perfect for us. We also had our little dog with us and the whole set up was great honestly. They communicate via text with you the whole time you're a guest and that's pretty awesome and convenient. They are really generous, friendly, wonderful people that take care of this property for The Weekender folks that own it. They all deserve raises. 😊

Clean room comfortable bed and easy no contact check in/out would definitely stay here again. Can be a bit pricey
