Riverchase Campgrounds

Diane was a pleasure to deal with and talk to. The campground was nice and quiet, clean kept. Bathrooms were clean and great for a campground. Easy in and out. Beautiful views right on the New River. Trains run all day and night, but at least it keeps the wildlife away!

Treated just like family! They offer a family oriented, very clean campground. They have showers and bathrooms just a walk away.By far one of the best places I have camped at. The grounds keeper and the owner Diane are just truly the most kind people I have ever met.

Diane was such a pleasure to work with when we were reserving a spot for the weekend. We have an RV which takes a 30 amp but hers were 50. We didn’t have the adapter so she went home and brought us one. In the lower lot there are walnut trees so she made sure we got in a spot where they would not fall on our rig. Her set up is quite nice and has separate bathrooms and showers. If we are ever back this way we will be sure to look her back up.

We have been camping at Diane’s for years and years!! Diane has the best kept secret in WV. Her campground is gorgeous, relaxing and always in tip top shape. The bathrooms and showers are always clean and sanitized, the shed is always stocked with fire wood. We tent camp with large crowds and a lot of kids. Diane is always so accommodating to make sure we have fun. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Meadow Creek is my happy place. We love Diane and Riverchase campground. We spent Labor Day weekend tent camping here. Hands down, the most friendly owner!! The sites are spacious, most have shade. Restrooms were clean and firewood is cheap. Pet and kid friendly with a swing and room for volleyball or badminton nets. Very peaceful setting but heads up, this IS coal country and train tracks are active throughout the area so careful around the tracks. The camp is about three miles down river from a public access so you can float back to your camp. This is our go to site from here on out!
