River Wellness Lodge

So happy we stumbled upon this place. It was so serene and beautiful. Makes you never want to leave! I manage a successful business and can say from experience that the best businesses are made by good people. I can tell that Ann-one of the owners- is good people. She was very attentive and kind. Ms. Becky checked us in and was simply lovely and warm. We felt very welcomed by everyone. We will definitely be returning!

This place was a cozy and peaceful oasis and Ann and Paul are gracious hosts. Would highly recommend!! Rooms were very clean, beds were very comfortable and the views of home literally sits on the river bank. We stumbled on this place and so glad we did - we rarely write reviews but this place is a hidden gem!

River Wellness Lodge was amazing! The therapies were unique. We enjoyed trying the various machines & learning about them. The food was delicious & healthy. We loved meeting people from around the world. We really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Kayaking was enjoyable. Starting each day with deep breathing & encouraging teachings energized us.

This is me and my wife leaving a $213 a night lodge…not only because it was a dump where they basically just leave trash lying around and nowhere does maintenance of any kind exist…but because the owners left town and locked down all the amenities that make the place worth more than $70 a night. They also decided not to tell us because they were hoping we’d just accept the $70 worth of service for our $213 payment. We literally found out when the access card wouldn’t work to gain entry to the amenities we’d paid for. They ignored our texts asking for help, but we found a maid that told us we wouldn’t be allowed access to what we purchased. They knew knew that demanding our refund would keep that money tied up and potentially risk ruining our weekend if we couldn’t find a quick alternative

Received a very friendly welcoming from Paul on arrival. We immediately felt comfortable, and the place was just beautiful. We truly enjoyed being there. We were blessed to have the opportunity to get to know Paul and Ann, we consider our time chatting with them as one of the gold nuggets of our weekend. We came to relax, and this place delivered. Ann also makes delicious treats and has them out to enjoy! Special thanks Ann. We are looking forward to another stay, and recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing stay provided by amazing people. Thank you again.
