I went to watch sprint car racing at port royal speedway and did some tent camping. River rock campground was a fantastic getaway clean restrooms with showers and a brand new play ground for kids to play on. There are over 70 sites with electric water and sewer connections. We met the owner Kevin who is super nice. On one edge of the campground there is the Junieta river along the other side are train tracks. If you are a train enthusiast you have to check it out. I highly recommend checking out this campground and will definitely be camping there again. Lots of people had Golf carts and pets you can also have campfires. Overall a great place to visit.

Got a seasonal site here this year and couldn't be happier. Not over crowded, quiet, all other campers are very nice and respectful, new playground for the kids, train track next to campground (which my 3yr old son absolutely loves, tons of wildlife all around as well as a really good section of the juniata river to fish, beautiful bath house, place to launch your boat or kayaks, river side golf cart trail through the woods which doubles as a easy way to Port Royal Speedway with a place to park your golf cart, picnic tables and steel fire rings (optional to campers) to use at campers lot, as well as multiple newly installed 5G Wi-Fi boxes all around the campground giving all campers high-speed Wi-Fi included. Highly recommended campground, hands down the best around!!!

We stayed here for the first time this weekend . This is arguably one of the nicest , laid back campgrounds we have ever stayed at . Amazing fishing on the juniata river …. You are literally right on the river you can’t get any closer even if you tried , small mouth heaven . The campground is so clean , nice level stone pads The owners are extremely nice and very responsive with email and phone calls . And your a stone throw away from the speed palace … port royal speedway . We will absolutely be back here next year ! So glad we found river rock campground !!!

Absolutely Perfect Getaway! River Rock Campground exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, well-maintained, and peaceful the entire area was. The sites were spacious and private, with just the right balance of nature and convenience. The river access was a major highlight—perfect for kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing by the water. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from day one. The restrooms and showers were spotless, and you can tell the owners take great pride in keeping everything top-notch. Whether you're camping with family, friends, or solo, River Rock is the perfect spot to unwind and connect with nature. We’re already planning our next visit!

Stayed Memorial day weekend. Great campground along the Juniata river. The train and Port Royal speedway are close by but noise is not a concern.
