Home to a very knowledgeable pair of Sabine River guides - Tom and Jane Gallenbach and a good place to rest up between fishing trips. I stayed two nights - one in cabin 7 and one in cabin 1. The age and quality of the cabins - and their beds and kitchens vary widely. Cabin 7 is a newer unit, with a TV, two semi-private sleeping areas and a sleeper sofa. Linens are provided. Cabin 1 is an old hut with two lofts that contain very comfortable queen mattresses, a roll-away and a metal frame twin bed. Linens were not provided with Cabin 1. Both have small kitchen areas with fridges (old hotel/dorm-room style in 1; Full kitchen size, with freezer in 7). Both have A/C, but 7's is central and 1 has just a rickety window unit.
