River Oaks RV Park

Great quiet campground with spacious spots, well maintained pavement in the campground and very clean shower house. We were there for a few night, no issues, lot was pretty level, and I had plenty of room to back in. Shower house had several individual rooms with showers, sink, and toilet with great water pressure and hot water. Only 'issue' I would consider is the park is about 3 miles off the highway down a dirt road. Road was plenty wide enough for passing traffic and decently maintained, but was plenty bumpy for a travel trailer.

Rooms and service above are not applicable. We stayed at RV site in a beautiful, remote area. Had good water pressure and excellent streaming wifi. Never saw any staff on location, all details of stay handled by email. There is a gravel road for several miles to access the campground, but it was better than some paved roads we’ve traveled on, and very scenic.

The biggest con is the gravel road getting here. Tina- the manager- could not be more accommodating and tried to provide anything we might need. We drive a Class A motorhome and were having trouble with the canvas topper over one of our slide outs. Needing another tall ladder to reach the top, Tina brought one and even climbed to the top of it to help us out! Also, needing a certain size screw, she opened up her garage to us to help accommodate our search for the perfect size. |The grounds here are very quiet and all of our neighbors were very hospitable. I would definitely recommend this for a quiet getaway but especially for the hospitality and Tina. She is a hidden gem!

We had a wonderful stay at River Oaks RV Park! The sites were beautiful, spacious, and perfectly level. The showers were spotless- clean, warm, and private- and the laundry room was fantastic with modern machines and easy app-based payment (no digging for quarters!). The entire property is beautifully maintained, with lots of space to walk, explore, and just breathe. It’s peaceful, remote, and incredibly relaxing, a true hidden gem. Every detail made our stay comfortable and enjoyable, and we left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to coming back. Highly, highly recommend!

Stayed at this location long term and had absolutely no issues whatsoever. Management was extremely helpful, courteous and kind. Park is clean, pet friendly with great amenities. Very clean and nice showers, bathrooms and laundry facilities. 10/10 would recommend to anyone if looking for short or long term stays. Definitely would stay here again. Thanks to the amazing managers for making our stay as great as it was!
