River Cities RV Park

We spent one night here on our way to New Orleans. It’s secure, extremely clean and the sites are generous and level. It’s very convenient to the highway (so there is some road noise). The registration/gate code system is efficient. It was a very tight squeeze getting our 45’ Class A around the exit road and through the gate.

The pull through sites are smooth and level concrete pads. The electrical hookups are lighted and easy to connect. Water and sewer dumps at each site are convenient and easily accessible. Easy in and out even for a big rig. The park is next to I-49 off the service road just down the road from the Love’s Truck stop. There is a key code security gate at the entrance which helps as the only negative I have is that the park lacks security lights throughout except for the small LED lights on the electrical connections that help with connecting shore power but no more that that.

This is the way rv parks should be run ! They have codes and email confirmation so that an office visit is never needed. There are comments about the freeway noise. It didn’t affect our ability to sleep. If we are in the area again we will stay here. Dog loved the pet area. It was clean. The only recommendation would be to fence it so we can run our pups off leash, but that is minor. Close to Loves truck stop and was very pleased with the cleanliness Sites were large and all pull thru (yeah). Looked relatively new. Did not use showers so cant comment on that.

Very secure RV park. The park itself is very quiet but lots of outside noise due to automobile traffic, train, etc. Putting the fan on hid outside traffic. 24 hour accessible. Owners respond quickly to texts. Need code to enter gate. Excellent internet reception. Convenient to interstate. Just dont stay past checkout time as I understand one will be charged for another night. Large pads. Well maintained.

Our family of 4 spent the night here last night. It is a gated RV park. It was easy to get in/out of the gate with our access code, the property is nice and flat with a good concrete pad for the RV. There are bathroom/shower facilities on site as well as a laundry. We didn’t use the laundry, but did use the bathrooms/shower facilities and it was very clean and warm inside on a cold morning.
