River Bend Cottage

What a great spot! Peaceful and relaxing. Great for a hike down the Laurel River Trail or just to wander around. Beds sleep great! Fully stocked kitchen for those who bring things to cook! Dog friendly with a pet deposit! Like another review, Don't go it's Horrible 😉 you will hate it!

This place is awful. Don't ever go here. Seriously; need you all to stay away from this gem. Cozy cottage is great for a family getaway. Located in a relatively secluded and private spot. Expect to relax and feel like you actually got away for a while. Directly on the Big Laurel which hosts great fishing opportunities at the right time of year. Trail access from the doorstep. Beautiful views. Whitewater (II - IV technical) kayaking when the rain provides enough flow. If the creek is at normal flows you can wade and swim in the holes. Short drive to Hot Springs.

Spent a weekend here with my parents and boyfriend. Beuatiful views and the house was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Would 100% recommend.

This place is just stunning. Relaxing and a great place to disconnect from the world. Already planning a trip to come back!

We’ve stayed here several times and look forward to staying again. That said, don’t go to this place. It’s awful. The river continuously rumbles by causing you to sleep deeply. The stars on a moonless night are so bright you can track the Milky Way. When you have a fire in the fire pit the crackling mostly drowns out the rushing of the Little Laurel river 25 feet away. So don’t go. We don’t want to share it.
