Customer Reviews
Our experience at this location was largely negative, unfortunately. The most significant issue was the absolutely horrid smell of rust emanating from the shower water. It was so strong that we couldn't bring ourselves to use the facilities after the first attempt. To make matters worse, dripping water also left noticeable rust stains on our RV. The website was also quite confusing, leading to an initial booking error where we accidentally reserved a tent space. Thankfully, this was resolved without too much hassle. The only positive aspect of our stay was the availability of Wi-Fi, which was a definite plus. However, this single amenity couldn't outweigh the significant problems we encountered. Overall, while the Wi-Fi was appreciated, the unusable showers and rust issues make it difficul
Do not stay here without an RV. 1 star is generous. If they were trying to drive me away they couldn’t have done a better job. We camp about once a year and have a cargo van and a tent. This year – May 2025 – I stayed the week before Memorial Day. Negatives: • Nobody was present for check-in, before 5 on a Saturday • Flush toilets near the campsites were filthy, blocked, and overflowing. Be glad I didn't include a photo. • Hot water was not turned on to the showers near the campsites, at least in the ladies’ room, although the hot tap in the basins worked. Showers at the front building ok. • Electric in my assigned spot didn’t work. Since there were empty spots all around, I parked in a different space. Having an electric heater means that yeah, electric is important. (it was in the 40s at
I can not for the life of me figure out how this place has a 4.1 star rating. It has so much potential, but it’s dirty. It’s basically an RV trailer park. A large majority of the campers are full time because it’s open year round. Let’s start with the good. Barb in the front office is very nice! The WiFi is probably the best I’ve had in a campground. We even got it inside the camper! There is a pool, playground, volleyball & basketball court, bounce house, camp store, and game room. The bad! While all those things exist in the campground, they are old and dirty. The pool vacuum didn’t move the entire time we were here (5 days). There was a ridiculous amount of dirt in the pool. The game room consisted of 2 games and a pool table. It also shared space with the laundry room. The bath hou
This was a one night stop for us on our way home. The campsite is situated in a nice area. The sites are well proportioned and we had full hook up. The sites numbers are not very easy to see. The toilets were rustic. They have a swimming pool, children’s playground, basketball hoops and plenty of room for children to play. They seem to have quite a few seasonal campers. They must have had rain before we arrived as the road was muddy. On some of the sites the sewage hookup is at a higher elevation than a camper.
We stayed here for 6 nights, central to where we wanted to go. For a full hookup, you can't beat $40 a night and you have to keep this in mind. Sites are clean but tight and really no room to use your firepit if someone is next to you. NO PICNIC TABLES are provided, so bring your own table if you want one. So much potential here and very little money would make a huge difference. Most of the sites appear to be seasonal (open year round) and some people are living here fulltime. Condition of some of the campers are quite poor and rundown and affects the appearance and opinion of this campground; cost to live here fulltime is only $3500 a year. Restrooms are large enough and clean enough but both doors on women's stalls did not close and one door simply needed knob screwed in better. Of
