Customer Reviews
Ripples Inn at the Harbor is a great choice to stay for a visit to Rockland. The owner, Sandi, makes you feel right at home and is so friendly and accommodating. The other guests were fun to interact with, especially at breakfast. Sandi's dogs were so cute and friendly too, our toddler loved them. Sandi was very accommodating in providing a crib and high chair for our 1 year old. We stayed in the Friends and Family Suite and it was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space for the 3 of us. The front porch is relaxing to sit on and the breeze from the harbor is really nice. The street the inn sits on is busy at times and the cars can be loud, but we didn't hear them at all at night from our rooms. Rockland is a fun town to walk around with LOTS of great restaurants. Definitely try
We found a real gem at Ripples Inn. Sandi is a lovely hostess, and her full breakfasts are amazing. The rooms are decorated beautifully, and the front porch is a great place to wind down in the evening. We stayed at Ripples Inn during Lobster Festival with friends and had a fantastic time at this bed and breakfast. I'd highly recommend this place to my closest friends and family.
My BF and I stayed in the downstairs bedroom at the Inn. Sandy, the owner, was very pleasant and made us comfortable. There were two other couples staying upstairs in the two rooms up there and sharing a bathroom I think. There also was a kitchenette upstairs where we stored our traveling snacks and wine in frig and had access to any utensils/appliances we'd need. We had a small bathroom in our bedroom which was just fine for us. Queen bed was fine. Everything was clean and cozy. Location was very convenient to restaurants and access to main thoroughfare when we were out sightseeing. Sandy made us a lovely full breakfast both mornings - shared the table with the other couples and it was a lot of fun. There was no tv which was fine for us. We did have access to WiFi so we could acces
Hostess Sandi provides the highest level of friendly support in a charming Maine-style home filled with personality, comfort and all of the amenities you could want. She provides a wealth of information and personalized suggestions to make your stay most enjoyable. The Inn is just one block from the main street through Rockland where you can find anything from artesenal breads, artistic crafts and paintings, hand-made soaps and clothing, top-rated entertainers, and great Maine food. Rates are VERY reasonable, and Sandi's breakfasts are delicious and bountiful. With any luck, she'll make her wonderful blueberry scones for you!
My wife and I have visited Ripples Inn twice this summer. We find it delightful. The house is charming, the location is convenient to the city of Rockland and surrounding seacoast towns and waterfronts, and the breakfast meal has always been delicious. Moreover, Sandi, the hostess/owner is a special person who has always been very gracious and welcoming. I know that we'll be returning again.
