Ricketts Glen Hotel

Had supper there tonight celebrating our 25th anniversary with my wife. The service was great, the atmosphere superb and the food was absolutely outstanding! I HIGHLY recommend the clam chowder as well as the scallops Chesapeake style. Every bite was cooked perfectly and it was the most decadent seafood dish I've ever had. My wife had the Oneida Angus burger and fries. The burger was juicy and delicious and I would not have been disciplined had I ordered it. We met the owners who were wonderful people. If you find yourself near Benton, PA you should and stop by for a drink or something to eat. I really don't think you will regret it!

Took my mom here for her birthday last night, two of us had the lasagna and the other two in our party had NY strip and Ribeye steaks... all of our food was fantastic!! Ceasar salad was crisp with the perfect amount of delicious dressing and cheese. Lasagna was packed with flavor and the two men with their steaks cleared their plates. We got the cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert and they were both fantastic. All portions were very generous. Our waitress was quick, attentive and very kind. Owner is very personable and kind as well. Will make the 30 minutes trip more often!!

The restaurant is open to the public for lunch it is a very nice very clean well kept restaurant. the service was quick and courteous. The food was hot and fresh was very good. the prices were affordable. I will go there again soon.

I did not stay in the hotel but had dinner there. Excellent wait staff and got a tasty smoked Woodford with brown sugar to go with my T-Bone steak dinner. I enjoied meeting the owner who returned to his family roots after running restaurants and entertainment in various parts of the USA. The hotel only has a few rooms but is right by Ricketts Glen State park and is way less than doing a Vrbo or Air BnB. Definately a decent stop for dinner and we'll worth supporting this establishment. Will definaly stay there is making a weekend visit with the family to Ricketts Glen

We ate dinner at the Hotel. The dining room is very nice, and was relatively crowded for a Wednesday evening. Our server, Kylie, it was very professional informative, and the service was outstanding. We ordered a round of drinks and the Cosmos were superior, and our appetizer for the evening, pierogies with a smoked Gouda sauce was unbelievable. Dinner for the four of us was the ribeye steak, and a New York strip. The quality of the steaks was excellent and equivalent to the Pine Club in Dayton, an institution from the 40s, which is quite an achievement. Vegetables, a medley of green beans and squash, were perfect. For dessert, we had the “coffee“ cake with whipped cream. It was a black-and-white Bundt cake, fresh baked, and warm.
