Richard's Hotel

Located in Hollywood Florida, Richards Hotel is one of several different "Richards" properties located on the S Federal Highway strip. I stayed at this one "Richards Hotel" last time I was here and right now I am at Green Seas Hotel which is right next door (and personally I like the layout better). I gave this property an overall 5 NOT because its fancy; its not. Its a quiet, clean, fully functional room. This is a budget property and they do it VERY VERY well. Theres cameras everywhere, the staff is attentative and keeps their eyes on the place. If you want clean, quiet, functional and less than $100 a night then this is what you've been looking for. If you want your bed made daily and a mint left on your pillows go elsewhere.

This is a bare bones establishment. The accommodations were reasonable considering the price. The fixtures in the bathroom could stand some replacement or repair and the shower needed attention, as it had not been well cleaned. The room smelled of nicotine. The linens were somewhat dingy, due to apparent aging, but appeared clean. Parking was convenient and the staff was friendly.

Reserved two night and the host stated our second night was in a different room. They charged us a fee to stay in the same room and expected us to pay hourly bc we did not check out. Also, extra charge for towels, pillows and blankets. Very shady and unwelcoming.

Stayed at almost every one of Richards motels. And always have the same remarkable Stay every time very comfortable very safe locations. my wife Erica and I love staying there. Everyone should know Richards motels are the best in Hollywood, Florida and all of South Florida. Don’t waste your time going to another place where you will be disappointed. Make your stay amazing, and memorable staying at Richard‘s motels. Very clean fridge microwave TVs work. Clean ventilation, clean AC no disgusting carpets like most motels in Hollywood Florida and the staff is amazing is the best on US one. Best motels you can find on US one. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE PURE DECEPTION Prior to booking my reservation, I called this hotel to see what the time for check in. Paula stated 12pm, she would allow us to check in. However, the website says 4pm. Literally called her back stating your website says 4pm in order to double confirm and she said 12pm is fine, so I went ahead and reserved 2 rooms. When I got to the hotel she stated $10 an hour for an early check-in fee. I reminded her we just spoke and confirmed 12pm. She literally called me a liar and kicked me out of the property stating she would call the police???? Regarding the condition of the rooms, I happened to walk by while housekeeping was working. Beds are beat up + $20 resort fee. I don't see any resemblance to some form of resort. They reel you in with a good room rate
