Revenuer's Ridge Campground

One of the nicest Colorado state parks I have used. Spacious camping pads, well-thought-out camp site arrangement, lots of tree cover, trees between camp sites provide privacy between campers, bathrooms were clean and stocked (I saw a park worker check them twice each day), and the camp site itself was very clean. Many sites have magnificent views of Pike's peak. Site 84 had a partial view, but had a lovely treed area behind the camp site that was fun to explore.

Beautiful campground. Clean spots, Nice firepits. Clean pit toilets and camper services building (showers, flush toilets, laundry). Smooth paved road and spots. Great trails - be ready for the hills and 9800 feet elevation.

This campground is part of a network of a few campgrounds, they are all connected on a one way road, and the numbers start low and increase, so there is only one number for each campsite, despite there being different campground names. There are many electrical sites, some walk in tent sites, some back in sites, and some pull through sites. Book early as most of the reservations go quickly (especially the weekends). The Mueller State park is located at around 9,000ft and has great mountain views, and Pikes peak views. You drive just a bit through the park to get to the campground areas. This is an okay campground however not sure why pay so much if more than half of the amenities are going to be closed/unavailable. I booked this site with the intention of using the bathroom & kitchen sink yet that was not possible. They were closed the entire time. Had to drive 15-20 to the nearest gas station each time I wanted to use a bathroom or wash dishes. They never offered an explanation as to why bathrooms were unavailable or even a partial refund. The water spigots had no water, I even looked up their website to make sure water was available which it said it was. Just to find out that was not the case, thankfully I did bring some water but not enough for my entire stay. The host was nowhere to be found & the front booth was always empty. They have the nerve to charge $36 a night
