Restin' Holes

I do not have enough time or space to describe just how special this place is! We went for our honeymoon and there was not a single detail overlooked. The owners were so kind, hospitable, and responsive you can tell they truly put their hearts into this place. We hope to come back plenty more in the future.

Charming, thoughtfully organized, scenic, and just all around a wonderful experience! The details did not go unnoticed. Great for families or just a couples getaway. We will be back and I think I took over 50 photos to share with others in order to tell them about this real life fairy-tale we got to experience.

From an engineering standpoint the rooms are quiet and temperature stable because they are partially underground. From an architectural and artistic standpoint this facility is unsurpassed. I felt like I was staying in a hobbit house from the lord of the rings. Truly amazing, complete with all the amenities needed for a comfortable fun stay for both couples and families. An incredible bit of art work that you can stay at.

The Craftsmanship put into these homes is unbelievable truly! I could just sit and stare at all the art throughout all the buildings from the painting on the walls, to the art within the construction. It is most definitely worth visiting, check it out! They are clean, comfortable, and convenient! A Unique place like you’ve never experienced before!

Such an amazing place to stay!!! We absolutely adored the theme of Restin' Holes and the people that run them. Very, very clean rooms and incredibly spacious. We loved how we had a place to cook, wash clothes, workout, and chill! The owners are attentive to needs of guests. You can sit outside of the room and hear the waterfall. It is so relaxing. Ran, built, and decorated by locals. I really love to support a small business and the families behind them. Restin' Holes also sits along the Bourbon Trail, close to Louisville, Lexington, Bardstown, And Frankfort. We will 100% stay again!
