Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix North/Happy Valley

As a Bonvoy member.. This is the WORST Residence Inn that we have stayed at in the US. Looked more like an apartment complex. Rooms used for outside storage. Hottub out of order without a heads up. People roaming around everywhere. Breakfast looked like a concert with kids. You have been warned.

One of the best breakfasts at a hotel, ever. When most are going cheap by offering only sausage, which I can't eat, this property provides crispy bacon and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs daily, with friendly attentive staff ensuring the area is clean and stocked. Fresh fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, waffles, juice, coffee and milk round out a great breakfast that doesn't taste overly seasoned and processed like another chain south of here. ||The lobby, dining area, elevator and guest room and bathroom were clean, so no complaints there. HVAC, hot water, fridge and microwave worked great, but I couldn't open the dishwasher packet to wash dishes so had to hand wash with the provided Dawn what I used. You might want to consider pre-washing anything you plan to use. And bring

I stayed here for 2 Months, stay was very comfortable, room service and staff was excellent. Rooms were near and clean. They provide lots of kitchen amenities for proper cooking. They should provide more veg options in breakfast. Overall nice stay and recommended for long stays.

The rooms are extremely clean, the full kitchen with refrigerator was extremely welcome, the desk was a nice touch, and the bed exceeded my expectations. Overall this is a very nice place to stay. I wasn't there for an extended stay, just three days, but having the fridge and coffee pot was a really nice thing to have. Others are there for a long time, but just coming in and out was wonderful. There were dishes in the cabinets, silverware available, and enough coffee for my whole trip. The location is wonderful, I really don't have any complaints. Of course, with Corona virus the amazing breakfast they used to serve has been replaced with a grab and go bag, that is unfortunate but is an understandable reality.

wife and daughter did not feel safe in this dark heavy industrial neighborhood, mostly construction workers staying at this hotel which is older. Wifi did not work properly. No EV charging. Total mess, would not recommend and would not stay again.
