Residence Inn by Marriott Navarre Waterfront

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location but the service is definitely lacking. I've traveled for over 25 years for business and this has easily been among my worst experiences. Arrived at 8PM and waited over 15 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check me in. No other guests in line - just nobody at the desk. Went to my room which was very nice and clean and got a good night's sleep. Looking forward to my morning cup of coffee when I woke up at 8AM, I headed downstairs only to find out there were no cups to be had and the pot was empty. Decided I'd grab the usual hotel fare of eggs and sausage but that was gone as well. Ended up grabbing a bagel but got reprimanded like a 2 year old by staff when I went to adjust the toast level. We chose this hotel because we are Bonvoy members. The price was great and we saw that it was a waterfront hotel. Upon arrival, we realized that the hotel was brand new! We had a waterfront room and it was lovely. We only had two complaints. Understanding which elevator took you up to the main lobby since parking was under the building. Also, trying to lock our patio door, which wasn't obvious. They told us they were having stickers made to explain how it worked. The lobby was beautiful, the view was amazing, breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful! We will be back!

Revised to 3rd night of hot room due to ridiculous thermostat e-settings. Night people absolutely helpless in remedy of problem. Hot water takes 15 mins. To get to faucet and then is barely hot. Brand new hotel with major mechanical issues. Stay away. Said they fixed the thermostat then came back to find AC cabinet door open - not fixed. Few other glitches - coffee cups are too small for the room coffee machines, spills coffee all over the counter. Asked the maintenance guy if hotel was having problems... yep, the hot water being a big one. Reached out to Mgmnt. Co. Optimal Hospitality Solutions and have heard nothing. Booked a short notice trip here for a family funeral in the area. The room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Upon our return home, we realized we had forgotten to grab my wife's outfit from the hanger in the hotel closet. Management (Amaris C) was very helpful in facilitating the shipping of those items back to our home in Houston. A+ all around.

We stayd here for 5 nights. The location is great. The hotel is new. But, they don’t keep the rooms, hallway, elevators clean. We had to ask the room be cleaned several times. The housekeeping barely cleaned the room. We had two queen beds and sofa bed but he would only make one bed. Floors are dirty. When we first came, drinking glass had lipstick stain. Extra blanket stank, trash wasn’t taken out, toiletries were not replenished. The other room had a used towel and trash by their door (just tells me we are not the only ones not happy woth housekeeping) I am being generous with giving 3-stars. If they dont keep up with cleaning the place it will look ran down in a months time. The gentlemen in the front desk are nice. The one running the breakfast area is sweet and courteous. We wont be
