Customer Reviews
I would like to pick up where I left off on my review of the Residence Inn at Mt. Olive that I submitted a year ago. My wife and I have returned on multiple occasions over the past twenty years due to the hotel's wonderful location in the foothills of the mountains of western New Jersey. The continuing renovations to the hotel are spectacular and make a stay at RIMO truly pleasant. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equiped, and provide the comfort we appreciate in a modern hotel at a very competitive price. Having a swimming pool makes this hotel even a better value!|Tatyana Petrov and her team are not only friendly and efficient, but also provide excellent customer service and are attentive to all requests and concerns we had. On each of our return visits, it's always comforting to b
Had a quick one-night stay with my family. Room was clean but out of body wash. We were able to get some bars from the front desk. Our biggest problem was the fridge not being nearly cold enough despite turning the cooling setting to high. We lost a good amount of leftovers and milk. At check-out I let the front desk know and asked for some sort of compensation. She said she’d let the manager know but I haven't heard anything since. Id expect the hotel to take responsibility for their failing appliances.
My wife and I stayed at the Residence Inn four nights Oct. 31 thru Nov. 3rd. On our first ||night Friday evening at approximately 3am the power went out. When we awakened even the emergency hall lights were not working, very dark, like in a horror movie. The power company kept saying the power would be on in a couple hours. The power stayed out for 24 plus hours and being Nov. it was starting to get cold. There were people staying there for three weddings. Most people understood that it was not the fault of the hotel that the power went out, but everyone was asking why a hotel of this quality did not have a back up generator, which is a really good question. Why did I give the hotel a five star rating. The reason is a young lady by the name of Tatyana Petrov. (Operations Manager and the
Positive: Fabulous free breakfast, very comfortable and well-appointed room, great price! Negative: Road noise from our room on the third-floor backside of the hotel was considerable—tractor-trailers downshifting on and off all night long were notably close and loud. We will ask for a frontside room next time.
great place. most of the staff friendly. although some employees particularly the front desk were talking openly about co workers and customers, and it wasn't on the positive side. this is unprofessional. otherwise a great stay. clean rooms and breakfast was awesome. not sure i'll be back.
