Residence Inn by Marriott Miami West/FL Turnpike

The room was clean and a nice size for the price. I got the king suite. I usually book abnb but this space did not disappoint. The breakfast was good they had sausage eggs oatmeal diy waffles etc. wish they had grits and oj but overall it was so worth it. At first it looks like It is located in a weird spot, but as you get to moving you’re only a 25-35 minute drive from everything. The front desk was nice upon arrival and very helpful even honored my early check in request which was a heaven sent after our debacle at the airport. Shower was hot all toiletries available it was just a great place I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Positive: Comfortable beds Negative: They control the ac via computer and keep the rooms warm. Can speak to the front desk to get it turned down.

Great hotel for the price. You’ll always get the cleanest sheets and towels. It is a Marriott hallmark. Front desk was very nice with us and let us have breakfast even though we arrived at 5am (too early for usual check in at 3pm).

This was my third time staying at the Residence Inn Miami West/FL Turnpike, and it never disappoints. The hotel is in a great location (hence the repetition), offering easy access to local attractions and businesses. The front office staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out a breeze. I also appreciate the every-other-day housekeeping service, which is convenient unless I request more frequent cleaning. As always, my stay was comfortable and hassle-free, and I’ll definitely be back for another visit.

Tried checking in early. Rooms were not available. I totally understood. I was told to check back in about an hour. Again, was told room not available and check back at 2pm. It's after 3pm, and again told my room not available. I was told there were many late check outs. I was told to check back in about 45 minutes. As I'm waiting in the lobby, there have been guests checking in. It has been a long day of wasting time waiting for a room. I made this reservation many days in advance. At this point, this particular hotel will not be a choice for me in the future. By the way, it's Valentines weekend. Trying to find another hotel last minute isn't an option. Just Frustrated.
