Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Airport

I was honestly impressed.. more than what I expected. I was in town for 6days. This hotel exceeded my expectations with the upkeep. Our room was very spacious with a full kitchen. The hotel was clean with no loud noise in the halls, front desk assured me if it was anything we needed they could help. We requested extra pillows and someone was at the door within 10 minutes to bring them. I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

Not a good location except for being close to the airport. Walking is at your own risk. Maintenance is lacking and you are charged for laundry. Noisy location. Hot tub has been broken for a month. They told us to use the one at the Marriott. It's also broken and gross looking. Rooms are outdated and are nowhere as nice as the ones in Doral or the pictures they are showing in the lobby. PS I'm a Platinum Elite BonVoy member and they don't care. Worst BonVoy hotel I have ever experienced.

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Guests are charged to receive packages, which feels excessive given the overall quality of service. Several amenities were repeatedly unavailable during my stay. The hot tub was consistently out of order, the grill was frequently broken, and the water machine in the gym was not functioning. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. Although there is a card in the room stating that cleaning service can be provided more frequently than every three days upon request, when I asked for service, I was told it was unavailable. This was frustrating and did not align with what was communicated in the room. Additionally, interactions with the front desk staff were not welcoming or helpful, which further diminished the stay. Great location, friendly front desk staff. We stayed in a suite very well appointed. Clean , a little dark with furnishings. Only complaint is the bed. We had king size which had a very soft mattress cover. Way way too soft it felt like getting sucked in a marshmallow!|Overall stay was great!

We stayed here for one night before the start of a bicycle trip across southern Florida. Our whole experience was quite underwhelming.||The place is a prototypical Residence Inn. Our room was fine, though nothing special. Most unimpressive was the front desk staff. They could not figure out how to process our AAA or AARP discount. Simple stuff, but they could not make it happen. Instead, they offered us two Uber credits. Rather lame, but something. Though then, despite multiple promises, they could not figure out how to get their e-mail system to send us those credits. At some point, we gave up on it.||Oh...and the bill, with tax, was $380 for one night. For a basic room. Way over-priced. There are plenty of better options in the vicinity of the Miami airport.
