Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Wilmette/Skokie

The hotel has a beautiful lobby and pool area. Rooms are a great size. The hotel was so accommodating and friendly. We had a big party and they let us have a dinner in the lobby at a long table and all the questions we had. Definitely would stay again!

No big complaints. Great stay. Service is good and rooms overall comfortable. Stayed for a trip to Northwestern Univ and was a convenient 15 min drive. They only have king beds no two queens. But have a sofa bed that is springy and not great. Only improvement could be breakfast to have more options-More vegetarian, cut fruits and such. as It was very average.

Clean and quiet location and rooms. Spacious suites offer comfort of stay. Complimentary breakfast for members 6:30am to 9am. The kitchenette is nice with all necessary for cooking items. Very pleasant stay. Highly recommend.

What an unexpectedly wonderful experience! We tried to book a more expensive place we'd stayed in Evanston, but it was not available. We also thought about an AirBnB, but ended up deciding this would be more reliable and thought the pool might be relaxing. I am so glad we did! The staff were so friendly, the rooms were really comfortable and clean, the beds were great, and we even did get in the pool a few times. It was close enough to our family's home so it was an easy drive, but also far enough that we got to drive through twinkling lights each night (bonus at holiday time). When my brother's flight was cancelled and he had to rebook, the staff happily accommodated him. The staff made a point of kindly greeting us throughout our stay, making us feel very welcome. My husband and I were looking for a hotel outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Chicago and happened to find this gem. Great location with a mall and stores nearby. We had a wonderful stay. The check in process was smooth and the staff was pleasant. The room was spacious, quiet and exactly what we needed during our almost 2 week stay. ||We usually cook whenever we stay at a Residence Inn. There were limited pots and pans, but we made it work. Housekeeping refreshed our linens daily, and did a full clean after we stayed a week. ||There were numerous options for breakfast including cereals, breads, eggs, yogurt, fruit, tea/coffee, etc. The only drawback was there was only 1 new breakfast item every day. The other options were the same during our entire stay. ||We will definitely be back
