Residence Inn by Marriott Chatsworth

My hotel room here was way nicer than many 4 star hotels I’ve stayed at. It smelled absolutely amazing from whatever air freshener they use. It was huge, complete with a kitchen, a living room area, beds and bathroom. I felt like I had my own spotless studio apartment. The AC was able to be lowered to 64 so I could sleep well at night and it very adequately cooled the room. It was very quiet and I couldn’t hear my neighbors. Even the shower was huge. Everything here is updated and modern. And the cleaning staff are attentive. I seriously wish all hotels lived up to these standards. Overall this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve had. I slept like a baby.

I was staying here on a business trip with a friend and we were going to a class at a nearby facility. I’ve never heard of Chatsworth California, but saw this residence Inn. I was kind of hesitant to stay here, but I am glad I ended up booking this hotel. The hotel is next to a grocery store and a few fast food restaurants. The only issue I had with this hotel was the availability of parking and you have to park in a specific area and they gave me a map. When I would come back later in the evening, it was very hard to find a parking spot because of the limited parking. There is one side of the hotel that goes along the length of the wing, and if you park on the other side, you might be walking far to get to the elevator. If you have an electric vehicle, they have multiple parking spots.||C

Do not recommend staying here. Wow it just keeps getting worse! Just so everyone knows they are charging a LA city fee that is not disclosed and taken out of your room deposit. I found this out by accident. It looks like a hidden parking fee named as something else to me. Do not stay at this hotel in this economy take your hard earned money somewhere else. This is a nickel and dime lower class hotel. As many other people have mentioned their customer service is horrible. I am a Lifetime Gold Elite Marriott Rewards member and was denied a late checkout. This is hotel is less than half empty and we are in the middle of a recession in the state of California. We had a great week long stay as we came to Chatsworth from Michigan for an out patient surgery. The hotel was quiet and in a very convenient location. The suite we had was very clean and spacious. The best thing about this property is the great staff. Kudos to everyone who works here for the customer service.

I have booked a room for 7 nights. Then when I checked in I want to modify my booking but It was rejected. So I came back to my original booking. After 2 nights of stay, when I came back to hotel, the key card could not work, when I ask the front desk office, she said that I have checked out and they put All things in the room to my luguage and paper back and throw away all my food, including our new seal snacks.. i have been expelled from our roo. And my food dan snacks have been throw away without any reason. All the hotel staff only said I dont know what happend. And told me to rebook the room again.
