Republic of Texas Campground

We just stayed one night to break up our trip home, but very nice park. Good location and easy to get in and out. Nice sites, hookups, and restrooms. Would definitely stop here again.

This a beautiful campground located in the country with rolling hills. Very quiet and great owners. They make you feel welcome and we loved all the amenities. Pet friendly and our grandchildren loved the stocked fishing pond. Playground for children, Family gathering space available with full kitchen and outdoor grills and smoker. Creek runs behind the campground and lots of birds and nature.

very clean campground. sites are gravel but were level. sewer, water and electric connections were very good. campground is about 13 miles outside the small city of Comanche, Texas. Very quiet. Sunset was gorgeous. The Hostess, Ashley was very friendly and spent some time talking with us at our campsite. Would definitely stay there again.

Republic of Texas campground is a great place to stay! Owners seem like great people and work hard to make sure you have what you need and take care of the park very well. It’s peaceful and quiet just out of the city with a beautiful view. A big positive for me is the wifi actually works great here. I will definitely stay here anytime I’m working in the area.

This my friends, is an excellent site to just get away from city life. Rent yourself an RV or camper, load it up and enjoy the quiet sounds of nature. Imagine an early morning cup of your fav. Sitting in chair as the warm yellow sun rises up over the horizon. Your favorite someone by your side all smiles in a peaceful atmosphere. PRICELESS MEMORIES!!!
