Renaissance ClubSport Aliso Viejo Laguna Beach Hotel

This was our second time coming here and it’s been all positive experiences. Our room was spacious and quiet. The food in the lobby was good both times. We are particularly impressed with the gym. They got good equipments and it is clean. It’s usually not crowded, which is great. Overall, we had a good stay there.

I stayed at the hotel in early December and really enjoyed our stay. We were there for the Rams/Lions game and although a good distance from the stadium, I am so happy I picked this hotel. The Newport Beach area has always been one of my favorites in Orange County, but it was cool being in such a nice hotel with a world class gym. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and I felt the overall pricing was quite fair at their restaurant. I was also amazed that the morning coffee was no more expensive than going to a local Starbucks (I'm used to paying $5 for a cup of coffee in Vegas). As for the gym, they pretty much have everything (resistance training, cardio, a myriad of classes, racquetball, pickleball, and basketball). Excellent location near some fine restaurants at AV Town Center and so much that this part of OC has to offer. We loved the pool and sun deck. Didn’t bring kids but families seemed to really be enjoying themselves. Front desk staff was very helpful to us for some special requirements and we loved that they take hospitality seriously and with good humor. Housekeeping was very sweet and attentive. We’ll definitely stay again!

The rooms were good, cute surfer theme. Service was excellent. The fridge was leaking in our room. WhenI tild the front desk, they were extreemly nice and asked if I wanted to move rooms or wait for the engineer to fix or replace the fridge. I told them I was fine with either, it was the week of Thanksgiving and I knew they were going to be busy. They ended up moving us across the hall so we wouldn'thave to drag out stuff all over the hotel. Our new room had a better view! The gym seems excellent! We didn't have time to use it this trip, but we will plan on using it in the future. The whole week staff was very nice. This was the perfect location for us, near family and easy access to the freeway. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the area.
