Relax Inn and Suites

Stayed here after 10+ hours on the road. Room smelled like cigarettes right away. I didn’t mind and didn’t need to be moved. I just let the owner know so I wouldn’t be charged. Then, I noticed the blankets on the bed were stained. Not a big enough deal for me to want to move rooms or find a new hotel at midnight after a long drive. However, the more I stayed in this room, the more dirt and grime I noticed. There was food crust on top of one of the comforters, meaning it was never washed from the guest before me. The cherry on top was finding cigarette ashes in the bathtub when I wanted to take a bath. Definitely decided against it. When I mentioned it to the front desk the next morning, no refund offered. The bed was very comfortable. The water pressure was fantastic although the shower head is a bit low. The room had a refrigerator that included a small freezer perfect for refreezing our ice packs. Nice television.||||The room and furniture was dated but clean. Great place to lay your head for a night.

We walked in and there was a very musty smell in the lobby. Our room bathtub has mildew and mold all around it. "Breakfast" was very minimal. Front attendant was friendly enough. But our in-laws stayed across the street for 1/2 the price and that is what we will do next time.

Location wise the hotel was great considering we had a wedding in Adair. The overall hotel was disgusting though. The sheets were wrinkled and bed was barely made as if it had been slept in previously. There was hair(from someone shaving maybe) all over the sink. The bathroom door did not close. The microwave was filthy. There was splatter on the wall and door frames. The mini fridge was also disgusting. Then to top it all off, there was pee on the hotel seat. We chose to make the hour drive home instead of staying in the hotel. They did not refund any of my money either. Poor customer service and gross hotel.

This is not a bad place to stay, if you're just looking for a room to crash overnight. This is not an upscale, luxury hotel by any means. It is an independently owned older motel. It is still very presentable. But it shows signs that a remodel will be due soon. The room was very clean, with the usual minimum amenities. TV, WIFI, microwave, mini fridge, but no coffee maker. Plenty of towels, a bath mat and even wash clothes. They do offer a very spartan breakfast. For under a hundred bucks, not bad.
