Reitz Union Hotel

This is our go-to spot for campus visits. Every stay has been great, with spotless rooms that feel fresh upon arrival. The staff members are always a highlight—friendly, helpful, and professional. You can't beat the location for game days; being right on campus means we are just steps away from the stadium and all the action.

We were lucky enough to secure a room here for homecoming weekend in October 2024. This was my first trip to Gainesville for a UF game and I can say that the Reitz Union Hotel has me spoiled! ||If the on campus charm and atmosphere isn’t enough, the location improves this place even more. The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to the stadium and approximately that to anywhere you need to go on campus. It was perfect for a late night football game. ||Since the hotel is located in a student union type of building, you can also enjoy a variety of restaurants, the amazing campus bookstore, sitting areas, and more. ||The rooms were average, nothing crazy, but that’s not why you stay here. We did enjoy the free complimentary breakfast put out by the elevators each morning. ||Can’t wait to stay

We stayed at the Reitz Union Hotel this Veterans Day weekend. We came to visit our new Gators, our grandchildren. THE Student Union is beautiful and updated! The hotelrooms and baths... they need to be modernized to be at par with the elegant renovations of the Student Union interior. On the outside, I found poor and dried landscaping. The Reitz Student Union represents UF, the No. 1 Public university! Come on, Gators! Stand up ad HOLLER!

Visiting Gainesville, FL, USA. It’s the home of University of Florida. A beautiful City neat and clean. I live in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I visited many Asian and American Cities and Towns. To me Gainesville City is the best I have seen so far.

Hey I'm review 1234 😎 I've stayed here several times for professional meetings while at the university. It pretty standard. nothing Fancy. Probably going to be hard to book during game weekends. The staff is always very nice and helpful and after hours checking with their security is simple. Pretty inexpensive too.
