Reges Oceanfront Resort

We have not stayed at the reges in 6 years, we have not been to the shore since then. We always loved staying here. The staff were very attentive and warm. The rooms do need to be updated. Internet ready tvs would be a great uodate to enjoy a catch up on shows at night. My bed was very uncomfortable. Our room had a toilet seat with 2 big chips on the seat, gross. The shower drain was rusty. I was sad that they stopped the towel service at the pool. The heated pool was still nice, lobby clean and neat. One of the elevators were down during our stay, I'm sure it will be back to running soon. The front desk was able to get us an early check-in, which was great. It is a pleasure to be able to count on hospitality in this era of impersonal service. The staff at the Reges made us feel as if they really wanted us to be there. The smiling housekeeping staff made sure the room was clean. The maintenance staff greated us with a friendly hello. The cafe staff served us like friends. And the front desk staff made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the refreshing pool and hottub (still open in Sept.), the local restaurants (Carini's and the Crest Tavern). We were so happy that we decided to add a day to our trip. Joanne (?) helped us do that and went the extra mile to ensure we did not have to move out of our room and helped us stay within our limited budget. ||My only complaints were minor ones related to the fact that I love to watch and hear the

This is you typical Jersey Shore hotel| It is older and needs to have some of their profit reinvested. The rooms a typical hotel room set up, the beds werecomfortable. |We noticed that the floor was damp, we thought it was maybe from our cooler, it was not! We reported this to the cleaning staff and was advised that it is typical, the A/C vent in the wall has condensation and was dripping down the wall! It was also dripping from the light in the bathroom. |The balcony with the ocean view was perfect. It is a short walk to a very wide beautiful beach. There is a nice size pool. The staff was very friendly.

Our first time staying! All oceanfront rooms which is rare. Very clean. Great staff and Lobby. Very Nice pool, restaurant and on the beach. See ya’ again soon! A+++

Great location, pool area is kept very nice, suites are great. Good little restaurant on site with a service window so you can walk right up from the beach.
