Regency Inn

A great place to stay. The beds are very comfy, shower is great, and the location is prime. Great view. The staff were very kind and helpful. It's conveniently located right by gift shops, restaurants, the USS Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium. If you're looking for a nice place to stay and want to save money, this is the place. We love it. It's right by the water which is great. Very nice people, awesome location, super value, and a great experience. Thank you Regency Inn for making our vacation even better. Coming back for my birthday next month and we're staying here. You should too. You'll be glad you did.

Positive: Convenient location to north beach and 181 hwy so easy to get around even with construction. Walking/Close to restaurants, musuem and aquarium. Inexpensive overall. Access to washer/dryer free parking Negative: Stairs no elevator

Had a great experience here. Check-in was quick and the front desk was very welcoming. Love that they don't charge a deposit for credit card users! The rooms are older but very clean and come with a fridge, microwave, and free Wi-Fi. ​Best of all, you're within walking distance to the Lexington and the beach, with Blackbeard’s restaurant right next door. Felt safe with the good outdoor lighting and free parking. Highly recommend for a budget-friendly trip!

This place was horrible and dirty!!!! Thankfully we only stayed 1 night. Listen to all of these reviews and avoid this place at all cost!! It needs to be shut down ASAP!!!! There was a smell which I’m guessing is probably mold, I’m not too sure but it smelled horrible AND no smoke detector in my room. The sheets were dirty, the carpet is dirty, the bathroom was just filthy and the tub didn’t want to drain, ALL of the air conditioners are leaking, WiFi doesn’t even work, the pillows are so flat and the beds are hard. We paid $170 just for garbage but you get what you pay for right. ITS NOT WORTH IT. I wish I had gotten photos but I was so upset that I spent most of my day/night at the beach just to avoid being in the room. I hate confrontation and just by reading the reviews, I was better o

I had a really great experience here today. I called the hotel late in the evening with a very short and specific request, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. They offered a room for a short stay at a very reasonable price, which helped us a lot. The staff was polite, understanding, and quick to help, and the room was clean and comfortable. It’s rare to find this level of flexibility and customer service, especially on short notice. Truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness. Would definitely recommend this place based on the service alone.
