Redwood Motel

Sweet people, fair pricing. The Rooms are what you would expect for the price. They had vacancies when we NEEDED a place to crash, and were really nice.

I gave this 3 stars because it priced ok, decent location to Alton.|I was raised in Alton, and lived in Godfrey for 50 years. I must've driven past this motel 1000 times. I now live in Tucson and came back for a class reunion.|I figured what the hell I need to stay at the Redwood motel once in my life.|I'm in room, 24, A recent four-star review from 2017 said that it had been upgraded and perhaps it was. However, the TV and plumbing are great. Nice size bathroom, but the owners could put some money into spiffing up the place.. The paneling walls need painting definitely, and the outside walkway could use a fresh coat of cement paint. Perhaps they could go to Goodwill or thrift store and buy some nice classy pictures to put on the wall. It's pretty stark and it would not cost much money at

This service is terrible we have been paying $1500 per month for three months bc the prices are reasonable and they complain about giving towels and ice which I've never saw a motel that doesn't serve ice on demand they are extremely rude and completely out of line

SCAM!!!!!!!!! At check in I was given the price of $53 a night+$40 for deposit. At check out the price of the room became $80 a night+ $10 deposit. No way in hell was this place worth $80 a night the $53 was pushing it. The room itself was not too bad. It looked like it was in the middle of being remodeled.
