Red Roof PLUS+ Miami Airport

We booked the hotel in advance and informed them that we would be arriving around midnight. We were told that late check-in would not be an issue. When we arrived, there was a small line at the front desk. Later we found out that one of the front desk employees had not shown up for work, and about half of the people in line were guests whose flights had been canceled and who had received vouchers for this hotel. The processing time for each guest was very long, and as a result, we were not able to check in until 3:45 AM. The next morning we had plans to celebrate my wife’s birthday, but we were completely exhausted and didn’t get enough sleep, which ruined our plans. I’m currently staying at the Red Roof Plus+ Miami Airport, and it’s been an excellent experience so far. The staff here are always welcoming and professional, especially Stephany at the front desk — she’s truly amazing! She always greets guests with a big smile and goes out of her way to make everyone feel at home.||The housekeeping team does a great job keeping everything clean and comfortable, and the overall vibe here is friendly and relaxing. I’m really enjoying my stay and appreciate the effort everyone puts in to make guests feel cared for. Highly recommend this place!

It's important to remember that this is a budget hotel, meaning there are no luxuries, no breakfast, but they do have coffee that actually tastes quite good. The pool is nice and well-maintained, but unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy it. The hotel is directly opposite the airport; the lights flickered occasionally when a plane flew over, but that's something you have to put up with. It was quiet, we slept very well. There's no place to walk the dogs, except for a small green corner where there are also poop bags. The rooms were comfortably furnished, everything was there. Everything worked and everything was clean, which bothered me slightly. The carpet was left over as a rug in front of the bed; it was unnecessary.

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn near the Miami airport with my spouse and baby, and unfortunately our experience was very unpleasant. There were bugs throughout the room, especially around the bathroom area, by the sink, and even inside the refrigerator. I have videos and photos documenting this. Traveling with a baby made the situation even more stressful and uncomfortable. When I reported the issue to the front desk, I was told that there were no other rooms available and that I should email them- I did, twice! But never received a reply. Because I had no alternative place to stay, we were forced to remain in the same room for the rest of our stay despite the bug problem. Best feature is proximity to Miami Airport Metro. From there you can take MIA Mover right into the airport terminal. Takes 17 minutes to walk to the MIA Metro from the hotel.
