Red Roof Inn Wheelersburg

Stayed here a few days after power outage. Decent place, not "clean" but not filthy. They kept my $100 cash deposit because I didn't pick it back up the next morning. After a dozen excuses they said they donate all deposits to their church so they couldn't give it back. Dont trust them

This hotel had no bugs, the AC worked well & the bed was comfortable. The front desk person was friendly & helpful. The free breakfast was good and was much easier than traveling to a restaurant and saved us time. We would book here again.

I had a very frustrating experience with this red roof location. I booked from the 29th thru the 31st to stay, starting the night before, so I could check in early in the morning on the 30th, because i was on a roadtrip. When I arrived around 5 AM, there was no one in the lobby and there was a sign to ring a doorbell once for assistance, so i did, this guy with a braid and a beard came out from a hotel room half asleep asking what he could help us with and i told him i was checking in and he said “check in is from 3-4 so if you want me to check you in now there will be a 40 dollar charge” which i thought was weird because i’ve been to quite a lot of hotels and no matter what time im checking in if i already booked the night prior to me arriving they will check me in so the 40 dollar charge

Positive: "" Negative: Tv remote didn?t work and staff came right away to fix which was the plus. Cleanliness was low as sheets etc had stains. NO breakfast things available when I went at 830. Nothing to choose from except sandwich out fridge

Older hotel, clean pool, clean rooms,clean sheets. However the electric outlets seem to be the problem with ALL the red roofs. They seems to either have nowhere to pull in or they are blown. Room 122 microwave,nowhere to pull into the wall! It's a nice and quiet area, the front desk was always kind and helpful. Your dog stays with a deposit. Oh your ac units have timers on them. So that was confusing at first. But don't pass this one by. Breakfast was so, fruit,hot sandwich with sausage and egg, cereal, honey buns,muffins,coffee ,juice. I think oatmeal.
