Red Roof Inn & Suites Pensacola East - Milton

No complaints about the room, which is so rare nowadays. The pool felt a bit grimy, maybe because of the screen enclosure. Breakfast and coffee were great, same variety that is too be expected but every item my family and I tried was fresh! The staff kept it well stocked as well. No sweat about towel exchange, friendly and professional help from employees. It was a good stay and I SAVED a few dollars over some nearby places (that had LOWER ratings).

Positive: It seemed very quiet for the location and the day of the week Negative: It needs to be updated and repaired. The room had a musty smell to it, even after running the A/C unit.

Yep, it’s cheap — sort of like camping, but with more dirt. The front desk staff was friendly, which I appreciated, but that’s about where the positives end. I should’ve known better. Some reviews mentioned the place was clean, but that wasn’t my experience at all.||The room felt old and dirty, the hardwood floors were sticky (I didn’t even want to take my shoes off), and both the elevator and stairs looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The beds were broken (in?) The grounds were littered with cigarette butts everywhere. There’s just no pride of ownership here.||We knew it was a budget stay and only needed a quick place for the night, so we took our chances instead of driving 20 more minutes to Pensacola. Pro tip: drive a bit longer and skip this place.

Desk manager went out of her way to get me a room on the first floor for my wife who can not breathe well. Desk manager should be recognized for her professional ability taking care of her customers. She found a room on the first floor with bars in the stand up shower. Making my worries less due to her nice gestures. I will recommend this hotel for ever. By the way, we stayed in this hotel last year in January. The staff is the best.

Red Roof Inn off Avalon in Milton Florida will find any reason to keep your deposit. Management won't even talk to you about it, they get their workers to tell you. Then if you call coprate they get there feelings hurt & threaten to call the cops on you if you don't leave. 100$ deposit is what they kept from me for a late checkout but they never told me while I was cleaning the room they were gonna keep my deposit. I made sure that room was clean that all housekeeping had to do was mop floor & make beds, the whole time staff was aware of what I was doing but never mentioned they were gonna keep my deposit. No damage no smoking in the room but kept my deposit because I stayed & cleaned my room.
