Customer Reviews
Positive: The hot was close to the highway and restaurants. Negative: Yes there was a roach in the bathroom and l didn't ask for protection fee of my property.
SO much to say about this place. When I checked in there was another customer in there who had an issue with a reservation. He was raising his voice and carrying on, using foul language and cursing out the workers. The guy working the counter remained calm and polite, I give him credit for that. He took my ID to make a copy but never handed it back. I was there with my 12yo daughter, so I just wanted to get my room key and get out of there before the argument escalated further. I did not realize until the next day and my 2.5 hour drive home that my ID was not returned to me. I called and ask if they had it, they said that they did. I asked for it to be mailed to me securely and was told "we do not mail anything, you have to pick it up". I explained that I don't live anywhere near there and
Racist. Especially towards light skin service members. I was rudely forced out of my room as I was leaving and told I had to return at 3 pm for my following reservation. I returned to find my reservation cancelled and my credit card maxed out. I am a homeless veterans son who was honoring another fallen service member. The treatment was so horrendous I thought I was in the country he was from and not the United States. If you look like him and he likes you you will be fine but don't love your country and especially do not be a veteran or in the family of one. She still deserves the honor of serving our country I will be proud of her and her memory will NOT be disrespected! As long as I am alive!
First and last time at a Red Roof. Needed a pet hotel at last moment and paid the price for it. Upon arrival the desk clerk was arguing with a guest and the police and then ignored the rest of us in line for about 15 mins after they left so he could decompress. Once we got into the room, I was accosted by two prostitutes in the 50 yard walk to the room(in view of the desk). The room itself was disgusting. John McCain had better accommodations. The shower was leaking through the wall into the main bedroom soaking the 1970s carpet. Furthermore the room was literally crawling with roaches. We woke up on first night with one under the sheets so we just left late the second night and went to a different property. Horrible hotel, save your money and stress.
Racist, especially do not like people of my lighter complexion and USA service members. Had back to back reservations and was rudely told to get out of my room at 11 am and made me sit outside until 3 pm. When I returned at 3 pm my credit card was maxed out rudely refused my refund and just had enough money to get to the hotel across the street which maxed out my credit card and couldn't have dinner. I now know what suffering from racism feels like full force had a lesson of hate thought to me yesterday. 😭. Sadly I am a homeless veterans son that was honoring a fallen service member on my time there. Make sure you are his type and not at all proud of America before you book and you will be ok unlike me.
