This place needs to be condemned. I mistakenly booked a room based on online photos. I should have realized a hotel with a stove would be a hobo paradise in a town like Flint. If you're looking for somewhere to shootup and cook drugs, this is the place to be. If you're trying to sleep, look elsewhere. The only room available was a ground floor room with no locking windows, broken glasses in the floor, yellowed and dirty tub & toilet, drops of blood by the bathroom door, hair in the bed, you name it. When i asked the front desk about the window and the condition of the room, I was offered a screw to jam into the window so i would "feel secure while i slept". I asked for a different room and was denied. A refund was requested and i was told there would be no charge, but wouldnt you know it,
This is your basic, side of the highway hotel that we stopped at passing through town. However, it’s the people who work here who make it better. We booked on a 3rd party site and our reservation had been mistakenly canceled, leaving us without many options. But Le’Chaun and the manager Frank, truly turned it around. They seemed to genuinely care and found a way to accommodate us. The rooms were standard and clean, but again, it was the hospitality shown us that made me want to give it a positive review.
Only gave 1 star bc I couldn't post otherwise. This place should be condemned as soon as possible. The place reeked of mildew and mold upon entry. Was given a room on the first floor that had a broken window latch, sticky and grimy floors, blood stains on the tile behind the door to the room, and a broken pair of glasses under the heater. As soon as the broken window latch was found, we immediately went to the front desk receptionist and explained it was unsettling and unsafe for someone to stay in when anyone could step into the room through the broken window. The girl working said " we are completely booked up so no other rooms are available. I can maybe get you a screw to shove in it so that you feel more secure" we insisted on a refund as we were not about to stay there any longer than
Never again! Cold showers and clogged drains. Little black hairs in all the towels. Bed sheets felt like sandpaper. Key card would erase itself so I kept getting locked out of my room with my dog in the middle of the night. $100 card deposit that takes a few days to get back. I'm thankful for a place I could bring my dog while my heat was out, but room had a faint smell of dog urine and warped floor tiles. Floor was also really dirty/sticky? I had to wear shoes inside. Bathroom door was jacked up and I got locked inside for about five minutes. Would have just ripped the door off but I wanted my deposit back. Remote for TV didn't work. The cold showers were probably the clincher for leaving the review. Literally booked a room because my pipes were frozen. Staff at the counter were pretty f
