Red Roof Inn Corpus Christi North - Near Downtown

Stayed this past weekend, 2/27-3/1 and got 2 rooms for my big family and we absolutely loved it. Affordable and we were even able to bring our family dog for free!! Overall, would recommend and will be staying again when we visit Corpus Christi next time.

Everything was great from check in to parking. Nice and quiet no noise. Close by to everything needed to get done on my vacation trip. Definitely would say ya here again. Only problem I had was I couldn't get any hot water from the shower for some reason. I’d definitely stay again

I went on Travelocity to find a good hotel with good rates for a two day getaway with my husband for my birthday . I trusted Travelocity to find me a nice clean safe hotel. Red Roof Inn seemed like a nice hotel with a great rate for one nights stay. When we drove in the parking lot we should have continued out the the other side. The parking lot was filled with pot holes. That should of been my first clue it wasn’t going to get any better. We couldn’t get in to the lobby because the door was locked and we had to speak to manger or front desk through a thick glass window. The women behind the window was nice, but she spoke so softly it was hard to hear her.|Once we got in to the room we were shock and how rundown the room looked. The bathroom was the worst and I have pictures to prove it

I’d give zero stars if I could. We booked our stay through a kayak/Priceline/value booking 3rd party which showed decent looking pictures; however, reality couldn’t be further from the truth. We checked in close to midnight so right to bed, but after trying to take a shower only a small trickle came out and strangely would not stop all night. We closed the door so we could attempt to get some rest but we worried that it would overflow since the shower did not drain. Who would want to bath in standing water? When I called the front desk to complain they insisted that I did not know how to use the shower. At this point we were through. As we checked out I asked if they could compensate us for what seemed like false advertising and was told I should be happy to have gotten the “rate” I
