Red Roof Inn Chipley

On a long drive back home and walked in to book a room, and from the moment I was greeted, I was treated with such kindness and sincerity from front desk employee Kaitlin. It really brightened my day and my room is spacious and very clean! My bulldog and I are very pleased.

Worst hotel experience of my life. First room had the smake/fire detectors ripped out. "Replacement" room was dirty and unkept. Floors, fridge, microwave were nasty. Holes punched in bathroom door. Light switches did not work. Hair dryer was filthy. Bath vent fan missing cover and filthy. Wall lamp inoperable. Room not cleaned the 3 nights I was there....had to provide my own toilet paper. Tried to resolve issues by Red Roof Inn management was unapproachable. Will NEVER stay at a Red Roof Inn again and will make certain no family, friends or colleagues do either.

When I arrived at the facility I was greeted by the lady at the front desk and she was very friendly and helpful which is the only high star I submitted for this red roof location. You have good people working here and I say that because when I returned back to my room the air conditioning unit had not come on the entire time I was out of the room. When I went down to the desk the hotel attendant went up to the room with me and reset the ac unit. She was very helpful and nice and after she restarted the unit it was working and she told me if I ran into any issues to let her know. The unit started acting up about an hour after it’s reset so it’s not on the attendant it’s on maintenance. That night I had no working ac unit I’m thankful there was a constant fan on the unit or there would’ve b

Always a friendly and accommodating check-in. The room was clean and smelled slightly of disinfectant. The towels and bed linens were clean and fresh with no stains or odor. The coffee maker was clean and neatly arranged on a tray with coffee, decaf coffee, tea, and individual packages of cream, sugar, napkin, and stir stick. The counter area and mirror were spotless, as was the toilet and shower. Comfortable bed with more than enough pillows. The TV is large and suitably located for viewing from the bed or chair. All-in-all a very pleasant environment conducive to a good night.

Reserved a ADA room for 3 nights. Only one grab bar in the shower. Need an additional grab bar at the bottom of the tub on the wall for safety. Toilet was too low to the floor. I had to go buy a toilet seat elevator to use the toilet due to joint problems . If there had been grab bars for the toilet, I could have managed ok for the stay. No one came to clean my room during my 3 night stay. Did not remove the trash or give us clean towels. I had to ask for clean towels. I did so once, then didn’t bother afterward. Chelsea at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Excellent customer service from her. She made my bed and brought towels when I asked. Very pleasant young woman.
