Red Roof Inn Atlanta Airport NE - Conley

Please read, if you’re traveling I wouldn’t suggest this hotel even if it was your last resort! My partner had to work out of state so this was a last minute booking we made through a third party website, that would’ve made it difficult to refund or cut short our stay. The room service ladies were no issue they were accommodating and friendly, props to them ! BUT front office? Multiple foreseeable events could’ve been prevented here! if they stayed on the lookout of the hotels surroundings! During my stay it was common to see a homeless man wander around the halls/balcony. I tried to ignore cause he seemed not to do anything, up until my first encounter with him. The day I walked outside to the laundry unit to check on the clothes I had been washing. The room and location is perfect . However the customer service could use improvement . Check out is 11 am they start knocking and calling the room phone at 8/9 in the morning. Border line harassment. This morning at 9:55 they started knocking banging on door and check out wasent for another hour I was nude as I was waking up the housekeeper tried to enter the room. Then at 11:02 we was bothered again .

The moment we stepped inside the lobby, it was clear this place was beyond sketchy. After scanning the lobby with its overturned lobby chairs seemingly placed this way to discourage anyone from lingering, it painted a picture of a place better avoided. A security guard was on duty outfitted with handcuffs, a taser gun and a bulletproof vest. He accompanied us to view our room—for "safety reasons"! Our suspicion was that the hotel was a haven for drug users and prostitutes, which added another layer of discomfort. We left without a second thought.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay really crossed the line. The bed sheets were clearly dirty and we even found bugs in the room, which made it impossible to feel comfortable or safe sleeping there. The worst part was the housekeeping behavior. They called about two hours before checkout pushing us to leave and it woke us up. It felt aggressive and very unprofessional. It was stressful, unhygienic, and disruptive. I will not be returning and do not suggest choosing this place.

Despite the normal tightening up, dusting bcuz this room hasn't been used often I must say this is Red Roof at its best. Quiet, secluded and very clean outside. Definitely got plenty of undisturbed rest, must give them 4 stars! Rm317
