Red Cottage Hideaway

Had the best time ever, like always at these cabins.She does a great job taking care of them and the new add on of the donkeys are great. Love this places.

Very nicely decorated. Peaceful and pretty quiet and "almost secluded". A few more selectively placed trees in and the host could boast total privacy. There is not a lot of traffic but enough to be pretty frequent. Hot tub was nice but needs a skimmer handy. The shower was a little slippery. Would be nice to have a handbar or something for mature guests. Tub was slow to drain. I imagine due to well. The towels were not the best and small, but decent. The sheets were luscious and soft. The bed was comfortable. A cutting board would be great in kitchen. The treats in the fridge were thoughtful and yummy. The coffee beans/grinder and creamers were appreciated and tasty. It would be nice to have some fire kindling. We didn't know we needed or I missed it. Otherwise the fire pit

The cottage was quaint and welcoming. The lights were on for us. Decorated really cute for the holidays. Has a stove, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Very clean and well kept. Bathroom was nice and clean. Very large shower. Washer and dryer available. Perfect couples getaway. Delicious cinnamon rolls and bread left for us. Easy to find. Heater was noisy but kept the whole place cozy.

Such a great place to stay!! If you are looking for a quiet getaway I definitely recommend Red Cottage Hideaway Skyview Cottage. Everything was so clean, refreshing, wonderfully decorated, and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay! The homemade cinnamon rolls, fresh homemade bread, and beverages were awesome. They even made an anniversary cake for us which was so sweet and thoughtful!! I honestly can’t say enough about this place. It is tucked away in the country but close enough (15 min) to different towns around the area. The hot tub was clean and well maintained for some evening star gazing, as well as the fireplace being a nice added touch for a cozy atmosphere inside the cottage. Needless to say, we can’t wait to go back and plan our next trip!!

We have stayed at these cottages many times over the last several years. We only live 25min away, but the cabins provide us the rest and relaxation we need and chance to reconnect and step away from our busy lives. The location is perfect! It's quiet, but just a few minutes from your main Amish country attractions and restaurants. We especially love the Woodland Cottage as it's just so far back off the road and gives you the upmost privacy. We cannot wait to try the new hot tubs they have now added to the Woodland and Skyview Cottages. The price in my opinion is a bit high, but also good price for what you are getting here. Always clean and the owners will respond to any questions or need you may have during your stay, though you shouldn't need them as everything has always been perf
