Red Carpet Inn Duncannon, PA

Awesome motel! Staff is friendly, helpful, accommodating, and amazing! Rooms are great, spacious and comfortable. The rates are outstanding! It's location is great because you're close to everything. Harrisburg and Hershey are right down the road, as are the numerous parks and local sites. If you're coming to this area, I HIGHLY recommend staying at the Red Carpet Inn Duncannon!!!

Clean, affordable, had good amenities. Better than expected. Not a 3 or 4 star hotel but it absolutely fit the bill for my stay looking for a place to crash for a night after visiting a friend in Duncannon. Water in shower was hot, air conditioning (heater) worked. Only minor annoyance was that when the heater kicked in, the bearings sounded a bit like a car alarm going off outside for a few seconds.

Really disappointed by this motel. The room smells like it has not been cleaned and the carpet clearly hasn't been vacuumed in some time. The single drape isn't wide enough to cover the full window so the lights from the parking lot and busy highway outside will keep you up all night. The ice machine wasn't working so the employee brought us some but it was already half melted and there were floaties in it. The motel is miles from the main area of downtown Duncannon so access to restaurants and shops is a 5+ mile drive down the highway and not walkable.

Okey dokey, so take it for what it is worth. Heat was off in the room. Mind you it was 12 degrees outside. The hair dryer caught fire, they brought another to us. Took them 30 mins or so to do so. Beds aren't comfortable at all. Maybe because it was on the backside of the place. Room 15 to be exaclty.

Clean, quiet, friendly staff, remodeled rooms, great location and affordable rates. Thanks for the hospitality. Highly recommend !!
